SERIAL NUMBER 193320 BARREL 8" CALIBER .44 BLACKPOWDER MANUFACTURED 1871. Finished with blue and case color finishes with silver plated trigger guard and back strap. Non- fluted cylinder is roll engraved with Ormsby Naval Engagement scene. Matching numbers including wedge. Varnished one piece walnut grips. CONDITION. Exceptionally fine with barrel retaining 40% bright blue with balance turning plum Cylinder retail 30% blue with crisp cylinder scene. Trigger guard and back strap retain 20% silver plate finish. frame retains 80% vivid case colors. Bore and chambers are very fine with sharp rifling. Grips are very fine with over 90% varnish remaining and some light edge wear. Action operates properly with solid lock up. An exceptionally fine Colt 1860 Army revolver. ANTIQUE
